Happy to say that since the petition took off, not only did it gain 43000 supporters, but it was reasonably effective at closing down the behaviour that led to a very unsatisfactory outcome. It took about a year to normalise things for Armando, however the campaigners thought it necessary to keep the petition open, just in case there was any more trouble. This was a possibility because one of the parties didn't quite live up to its promise and there was a threat of further legal action. I am pleased to say that has not transpired. We're all a little older and the pandemic changed everyones perspective. Time marches on and this is the right time to close the campaign and thank eveyone who made it possible to change. Thank you.
