This Petition is to ask Cannock Chase Council to invest money into Cannock Park and create a safe play area for the children of the District.

The park has had little to no investment for over 30 years, with our neighbouring parks of Hednesford, Stafford and Lichfield putting our park to shame, forcing families to travel further afield to allow their children to play. The park is very outdated, unsafe and lacking in amenities, such as a cafe or an ice cream shop. 

Cannock Council are missing a huge opportunity to attract visitors to the park, which will in turn bring much needed footfall into the town which will help in reviving the Town Centre.
