It is necessary to have the Licorice/Fudge/Jelly Babies Candies 'Nigger Babies' Candies removed from Freak Lunch Box, no longer sold as selling these candies supports, and continues systemic racist histories for those who remember the candy but also for those who do not know the long continuous racist attitude and history tied to the sweets as well as to Black people and people of color in general. Removing the candy from the store would mean a ethical, social, humanist, moral, and intersectional shift in the dominant cultural narrative which points towards the ongoing hatred of people of color.
