We are calling on officials in Lamar Township, Clinton County and the state of Pennsylvania to cancel the 2024 Lamar Township Volunteer Fire Co. Annual Predator Hunt (2/16-18/24) and in all future years. It is inhumane and immoral to raise money for the important work the Volunteer Fire Co. does by a bloodbath of slaughtering innocent animals. This is especially disturbing considering that one of the main roles of the Fire Co. is to save lives. 

The cruel practice of killing contents has already been banned by 9 states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Mexico, Oregon, Vermont and Washington. It is time Pennsylvania bans the practice as well.
