The power outage is impacting the learning enviorment for students, so work can't be completed. The rooms are so dark that during school, work can't not be completed, instead you are just there sitting in the dark not learning. It would be the better option to cancel school on Friday January 24, due to the power outages and how it's impacting the learning environment at the moment, and because of the power outage, various neighborhoods have no wifi to complete their work for school and their jobs, so there is no point to be sending students to school when you won't be learning. Many students have stated that it's difficult to work in that type of environment, have tripped and no work was completed. Especially with the power outage there is no wifi, so the ipads can not be used and phones can not be used to do work also due to the power outage. It also becomes a hazard to people especially trying to figure out where you're going in a very dark room, and it makes it very possible for someone to sustain an injury.
