A big thank you to everyone who signed this Petition to build public pressure — our grassroots response was strong and clear: hate has no place on Canadian stages.

This petition, launched five months ago, grew to 10,551 signatures, warning against giving Kneecap a platform due to their history of glorifying terror groups and inciting hate. Together, we stood up — and today, Canada took action.

The Canadian government has officially barred Kneecap from entering the country for openly supporting terrorist groups like Hezbollah and Hamas and for promoting violence and antisemitism.

Statement from Vince Gasparro, Parliamentary Secretary to the Secretary of State on Combating Crime:

“On behalf of the Government of Canada I am announcing that on the advice of our officials, we have deemed the group Kneecap ineligible to enter our country. Our government will not tolerate the advocating of political violence, terrorism or Anti-Semitism and hate more broadly.”

When grassroots Canadians unite, our voices do make a difference. Kneecap’s incitement threatens Canadian values and the safety of all Canadians. This decision must set a precedent: Canada cannot be used as a platform to spread extremist ideology or incite hatred.
