🛑 Stop Kneecap from Performing in Canada

We, the undersigned, are deeply concerned members of the community who strongly oppose the October 2025 sold out shows by the Irish band Kneecap, scheduled to perform at The Vogue Theatre in Vancouver and at History music venue in Toronto — produced by Live Nation alongside MRG Group in Vancouver.

Kneecap has included anti-Israel messaging in major performances at Coachella and Glastonbury Festivals. A criminal investigation has been launched in the UK after one band member allegedly displayed a Hezbollah flag — a listed terrorist organization -while the band shouted “Up Hamas, up Hezbollah,” and saying, “The only good Tory is a dead Tory. Kill your local MP” all caught on video. 

Kneecap’s shows have already been cancelled in the UK, Germany and Scotland. Most significantly, the Hungarian government barred Kneecap from entering the country. In the U.S., Kneecap’s work visas were revoked. The Immigration minister of Canada, Lena Diab won’t say if Canada is considering barring Kneecap or Bob Vylan.

In this country, Grand Chief Harvey Yesno of Eabametoong First Nation has called Kneecap’s presence a “defilement of the land.”

On October 7, 2023, the Nova Music Festival in Israel became the site of the largest massacre at a music event in history, where Hamas terrorists slaughtered hundreds of innocent attendees. To host a band that has openly celebrated October 7th and aligns with such terror is deeply offensive.

In Canada, both Hamas and Hezbollah are designated terrorist organizations, and under Section 83.03 of the Criminal Code, it is illegal to support or promote them.

Live Nation, MRG Group, and associated stakeholders now face a clear choice:
 👉 Will you be stewards of safe, inclusive cultural spaces, or will you provide a platform to those who glorify terrorism and spread hate?

 👉We call on Live Nation and The MRG Group to cancel Kneecap’s sold out performances scheduled for Oct 14 and 15th at History Music Venue in Toronto and Oct 22nd and 23rd at the Vogue Theatre in Vancouver.
