Like many young people who have endured abuse, I grew up tormented by an older man who sexually assaulted and groomed me. I understand too well the feelings of our departed Kim Sae Ron. This is a reality many face but few discuss, and it becomes even more harrowing when individuals involved in such acts ascend to fame and harness their power to refute claims, ignore cries for help, and continue their greed. Kim Soo Hyun, presently under investigation for allegations of pedophilia, grooming, and dating a minor, is the monster who has been under our nose. 

Disney+'s decision to release their new show "Knock-Off" is sending a dangerous message to children and families everywhere. Representation matters, and by choosing to release Kim Soo Hyun's show, Disney+ implies an acceptance of alleged predatory behavior. This does not sit right with victims, survivors, advocates, or anyone who believes in justice. 

We demand Disney+ to be accountable, uphold ethical standards, and immediately halt the release of "Knock-Off". We insist Kim Soo Hyun make a sincere public apology and offer a heartfelt explanation. Until then, we will be boycotting the release of the show. Stand with Kim Sae Ron, because if we don't listen to her final cry for help that she sacrificed herself for on his birthday, we may never find peace ourselves.
