We have gained almost 3,500 supporters in the past two weeks. Thank You if you are one of them. My plan is to let this petition run until just before the Summer recess ends for the UK Parliament. If the petition gains 10,000 signatories by that time I will cycle from home in Charentes to deliver it to someone in Westminster. So, if you want to see a rapidly ageing man on a bicycle and are one of the 4,150, all you need to do is promote this petition and get just over one (that will be two) other people to support it. My aim has always been simply to give MPs the opportunity to freely vote on Brexit, exercise their well-informed judgement of what is in the UK's best interest and to allow Parliamentary sovereignty to be demonstrated. It is good to see and hear some MPs now being brave enough to express their own (rather than their Party's) view - please help me to give them all that opportunity.
