Cancel Alen Simonyan for his anti-Armenian statements

Yesterday evening, the Speaker of the RA Parliament Alen Simonyan, answering questions from Radio Liberty (Azatutyun), justified the barbaric attack of Azerbaijan on Artsakh, and therefore the right of the criminal Aliyev regime to ethnically cleanse the indigenous Armenian population of Artsakh.
“The attack on Karabakh and the occupation of Armenian territories are different things from the point of view of the law. Azerbaijan carried out an operation in Karabakh, for which it had at least 3-4 UN resolutions,” said Alen Simonyan.
For us, citizens of Armenia, this statement by Simonyan is unacceptable, since these UN resolutions, to which Alen Simonyan refers, first of all called for the cessation of hostilities, and also, according to these resolutions, only the areas around Artsakh were considered occupied territories, and not Artsakh itself. Also, according to the decision of the International Court of Justice, the Armenians of Artsakh have the right to safely return to their homes. Therefore, we demand at a minimum the dismissal of the speaker and an apology to the people from the ruling party, and at a maximum the dismissal of the entire ruling party.

Вчера вечером спикер парламента РА Ален Симонян, отвечая на вопросы радио Азатутюн(Свобода) оправдал варварское нападение Азербайджана на Арцах, следовательно право преступного алиевского режима на этническую чистку армянского коренного населения Арцаха.
«Нападение на Карабах и оккупация территорий Армении – это разные вещи с точки зрения закона. Азербайджан провел операцию в Карабахе, под которой у него было как минимум 3-4 резолюции ООН», — сказал Ален Симонян.
Для нас, граждан Армении, это заявление Симоняна не допустимо, так как эти резолюции ООН, на которые ссылается Ален Симонян, в 1 очередь призывали к прекращению боевых действий, а оккупированные территории считались только районы вокруг Арцаха, а не сам Арцах. Также по решению международного суда ООН армяне Арцаха имеют право на безопасное возвращение в свои дома. Поэтому мы требуем как минимум увольнение спикера и извинения перед народом от правящей партии, а как максимум увольнение всей правящей партии.
