As people have heard, canadian tire centre has implanted a new bag policy stating only sling bags, small diaper and medical bags, and small purses are allowed in the arena. If you show up with something bigger, you will be turned away and asked to put it in your car. Many of us take the bus there and need a backpack for medical reasons or to hold everything when you are there all day. This petition is for canadian tire centre to change their policy so backpacks are allowed inside. I know many people show up with bags and they are never in the way. They get tucked under the seat and everything is fine. For example I know when one direction is gonna come to ottawa, over 90% of the girls will have bags because they will be there all day. Are they really going to turn away all the paying customers because of a bag? Did they have this policy because the workers are too lazy to do bag searches? I say we get this policy changed so backpacks can go into the arena and everyone will be happy. Thank you!
