Rhino horn has no medicinal value. Yet it's thought to have various snake oil uses and it's really just the same as human fingernails.  China is the biggest culprit for creating this market.  As such, the rhino horn trade is very lucrative. Rhinos are an endangered species and should be protected not slaughtered.  The way poachers hack their horns is off one of the cruelest human acts against an animal that can be committed.  Most rhinos die of shock as half their face is sawed off. The Canadian government should pressure the Chinese government to put a stop to this!
