Fact about Canada and racing dogs

Did you all know that as Canada falls under North America as part of an organisation called the IFSS (International Federation of Sleddog Sports), a race organisation for sled activities with all breeds of dogs including purebred sled dogs that only this year 2017 the Canadian Eskimo Dog has been allowed to compete? The IFSS was formed in the mid 80's and the Canadian Eskimo Dog or Inuit Dog as it is also known is proven to have existed over 2000BP. These facts are substantiated by radiocarbon dating technology of bones found which prove dogs existed in the Arctic regions along the same time as the Thule culture. If the CKC were to agree that the FCI could relist the breed it would be one of the oldest breeds registered by the FCI and they could compete in their own right without special dispensation in sled dog events all over the world. Keeping the breed and the pure sled dog an important part of the future and not just a piece of extinct history
