We are the organizing committee that represents a substantial population that have roots with its origins to the Saivite religion.

The Saivite religion is a peaceful religion that believes in the ability of every other religion to coexist in harmony and focuses on a philosophy of life through Yoga and Meditation and serving food to the poor and providing medical care to the needy

The religion is facing an existential threat and their regional bodies the world over has made a decision to set up a world-wide center in your riding for two reasons:

        •      Canada already has recognized the religion’s validity and charitable focus via granting the Nithyananda Meditation Academy charitable status

        •      Secondly a large group of its followers are resident in surrounding areas of Scarborough
