Turkiye has experienced 2 once-in-a-millennium earth quakes of 7.5 and 7.8 magnitude. 

Thousands have been killed, thousands of children, elderly and adults are trapped in rubble under 30,000 collapsed buildings.  14 million have been displaced, 30% of Canada's population.  Entire towns and cities flatted.  And if that is not bad enough, this region of Turkiye is experiencing one of the most extreme winters ever. 

This story has received very little media attention and Canada has only promised to donate $10 million.  This is clearly not nearly enough.

Canada should do better.  Canada CAN do better.   

The purposed of this petition is to encourage Government to do more to help.
