I'm a constituent in your riding.

Over 40,000 people have signed the petition calling for an end to BC's spousal cap, which prevents low-income persons from receiving much needed financial support due to their spousal status. 

This keeps people in poverty and traps them in abusive relationships by creating a state of financial dependence. They're treated like burdens, not people with their own goals and dreams.

Why haven't you acted to change this policy? Please act now and let me know what you're doing to can the spousal cap.
