Good morning everyone, 

Huge thank you to those who signed our petition. Many students are still struggling to keep cool in their dorm rooms. Last night the air was cool outside, but our dorm rooms remained hot. Dr. McMurdock - the dean of student affairs - reached out to me regarding our concerns and has asked me to meet with her tomorrow 9/6/22, to speak about our options. I am currently seeking other Carondelet residents to come to speak with me. We hope after tomorrow's meeting, Dr. McMurdock will be able to provide us with near future solutions. Even if the heat wave goes down, students should have Air Conditioning for comfort needs. 

Also, thank you to those who have donated to this petition. However, we did not intend to raise funds, so the money should be refunded due to no linked bank account for the money to be deposited into. Our intentions are for our Private Catholic University to pay for all installation services and/or purchases of AC units. We appreciate your kindness. 

Please continue to share the petition with friends and family. The more signatures we receive, the more likely a local news station can cover this as a story!
