This petition is focused on expanding the existing open space within Campton Township for Equine usage.  Corron Farm has been closed to Horses for many years after once allowing the farms beautiful trails to be enjoyed by horses and their owners.  Campton Township prides itself on preserving open space and maintaining a rural way of life; however, very little has been done to ensure that these facilities include the values and interests of those who own horses, as well as those that enjoy being around horses.  It is important that we take action to keep open space accessible to the horse community before it is lost for good.  

Changes within our community are often made with little fanfare. The rationale for closure of Corron Farm were made with little to no input from the community.  Speaking for myself, I am not focused on most township initiatives and I do not frequently attend town meetings, but this is where these changes often occur and we need to get in front of this change before it is too late.  If you are interested in preserving our land for horse usage and this way of life, voice your support for this petition to Open Corron Farm to horses!
