Freedom for Kurds and Kurdistan

We, the undersigned, stand in solidarity with the members of the PCS Kurdistan Independent Youth Platform, who have been unjustly arrested by the occupying Turkish state. Despite their commitment to non-violent resistance, individuals such as Ferid Azad, who has been imprisoned for advocating peace, and Ali Çeven, a protector of the Kurdish Pioneers Association, face wrongful incarceration. We call for the immediate release of these political prisoners and demand justice for all Kurdish people facing oppression.

Our Demands:

1. Freedom for Political Prisoners: We demand the immediate and unconditional release of Ferid Azad, Ali Çeven, and the hundreds of thousands of Kurdish youth currently imprisoned in Turkish jails.

2. Release of Iranian Kurdish Political Prisoners: We urge the Iranian government to release all Kurdish political prisoners and respect the rights of Kurdish citizens.

3. Abolition of the Death Penalty: We call for the abolition of the death penalty in Iran, ensuring that no individual faces execution for their beliefs or political actions.

4. Right to Self-Determination: We advocate for the Kurdish people's right to self-determination, allowing them to govern themselves and protect their cultural and national identity.

5. Restoration of National Rights: We demand recognition and restoration of the national rights of the Kurdish people, ensuring their voices are heard and respected in political discourse.

6. Accountability for War Crimes: We call for the prosecution of state leaders who commit war crimes, genocide, and massacres against the Kurdish nation, and demand that these states face appropriate sanctions.

7. Recognition of Kurds as Indigenous People: We emphasize that the Kurds are the indigenous people of Ancient Mesopotamia, and their historical presence and rights must be acknowledged and respected.
