Dear friends and allies The decision to change the planning use of the community day centre at Shoot up Hill from community facility to residential use was deferred by the planning committee. The committee decided that there wasn't sufficient information in the officers reports, Camden's application or in the answers given by officers at the meeting regarding the (Greenwood) replacement of community facilities at Shoot up Hill. They also expressed concern about the lack of any consultation regarding the proposed change of use on the Shoot up Hill site and the ignoring of the local Neighbourhood Development Plan. Councillors also asked why Camden had decided to apply for a change of use at this very early stage. People's Centre and the NDF have presented deputations. We will be checking what new information is fed to committee members and hope to have an opportunity to present our own case and view on these questions when the case returns to committee.
