Beginning in the 2014-15 school year, there will be an additional hour added to the instructional day for students at all levels. (No school may start before 7:25 a.m. and the latest a school may be in session is 3:30 p.m.) This means that any before or after school activities that bump up against the school day might be put into jeopardy  In addition, adding more time to the school day is not the right way to go about improvements to our students' education!
