For the third consecutive year, Cambridge International examinations have faced serious paper leak incidents across multiple subjects and regions. Last year, Cambridge assured students that stronger security measures would be implemented to prevent this from happening again. Despite those assurances multiple papers have once again been compromised during the current session.

 

Students spend months and even years preparing for these exams. Families invest significant amounts of money, time, sacrifices and trust into this system with the expectation of fairness and integrity. Honest students should not suffer because of failures in exam security.

 

The reality is that many students who benefit from compromised papers will never report them. The cases currently being reported are only the large scale and verified incidents supported by evidence.

 

This has now become a repeated issue, not an isolated incident.

 

What We Demand

 

We demand that Cambridge International and the British Council:

 

•Officially acknowledge all verified paper leaks.
•Conduct transparent investigations into every reported incident.
•Ensure that honest students are not unfairly disadvantaged.
•Offer fair solutions for affected students, including:
•Free October/November resits or retakes for affected papers during this exam series
•Lower thresholds for affected components.
•Lenient checking to minimise unfair impact on students.
•Issue a public apology and statement addressing student concerns.
•Introduce stronger security measures to prevent this from happening again in future sessions.
•Properly listen to student concerns and demands instead of ignoring them.
•Provide reasonable support or compensation for affected students.

This issue is not just about grades. It is about fairness, mental well being, student futures and trust in the education system.

 

Students deserve accountability. Students deserve transparency. Students deserve justice.
