The Grand Arcade in Cambridge is one of the most popular shopping centres in the entirety of Cambridgeshire and the car park is commonly used not only for the shopping centre but to get access to the centre of Cambridge. However, the prices of staying in the car park are astonishingly overpriced, especially compared to other car parks. On weekdays, the price of staying in the car park for over 4 hours sets you back £19.50 and would cost £20.50 on Saturdays - the price almost doubles compared to if you stay between 3 and 4 hours. I know for a fact that this doesn't only frustrate me and my family, but also other customers of the Grand Arcade. People who want to spend the day in Cambridge are set back an incredible amount of money and I'm confident that many people would be keen to sign a petition to get the prices reduced. I believe if we get enough signatures, Cambridge City Council will take this into consideration and hopefully will change this. Thanks.
