Sir/Madam, we, the third year students of Calcutta University, are going to face a huge problem due to the new schedule given by University regarding our examination. West Bengal Legislative Assembly election, 2016 has been announced from 4th April and other respective dates are 11th, 17th, 21st and 25th of April. Now we have to face our final year examination within that volatile period. The first and foremost problem that many outsider students stays here to continue their study in Calcutta University. It will be really difficult for them to handle both their examination in one hand and giving vote in another hand.It's practically impossible for the students from 220. Nayagram (ST)221. Gopiballavpur222. Jhargram234. Salboni236. Medninipur237. Binpur (ST)238. Bandwan (ST)239. Balarampur240. Baghmund241. Joypur242. Purulia243. Manbazar (ST)244. Kashipur245. Para (SC)246.Raghunathpur (SC)249. Ranibandh (ST)250. Raipur (ST)251. Taldangra to cast their democratic right.As we all know there are many students from these constituency studying in Calcutta University.Another problem we might face is the campaigning chaos. High volume of mikes and processions of different political parties will affect our studies just before the examination. A real headache now arise due to these new schedule.Last but not the least is the transportation problem,during the election we might be the victim of this uncomfortable situation and as a student it's our prime target to reach the predestine examination centre comfortably.

This is our earnest request, please do consider our proposal and postpone the third year examination of Calcutta University until the entire vote process ends.
