Calling on the Canadian Minister of Veterans Affairs to support Invictus Lodge.

The Issue

Hello! I am retired Sergeant Garrick Halinen, CD. We at Invictus Lodge are calling on the Canadian minister of Veterans Affairs, the Honourable Ginette Petitpas Taylor, to unequivocally financially back our tiny homes for thousands of Canadian veterans in Mexico.

It starts at Ixtapa Palace Resort mid April 2024, and beyond. There is already a community of self sufficient veterans in the area. We are meeting with the provincial governor, who has earmarked us 4000 acres of land to break ground. We will build a city with schools, churches, revenue, jobs and much more.

This has been my vision for years. As an ex paratrooper combat soldier who served in the special forces, I’ve had three friends take their last breaths in my arms over my nearly two decades of service, and understand how ptsd and combat can make veteran homelessness a major issue.

After all the years of toil and being challenged by the Creator to open my third eye, I see clearly. We are green light, GO! God bless.
