We, the residents of the City of Whittlesea, call on the resignation of the Mayor as the residents have lost faith in his ability to carry out the duties of Mayor. After only 9 weeks in office, he has chosen to seek election for the seat of Werribee, raising concerns about his commitment to the responsibilities and obligations that come with leading our community.

The position of Mayor demands full attention, dedication, and focus on the needs and wellbeing of the residents of Whittlesea. The current Mayor’s decision to pursue another political role so soon after being elected to serve our city reflects a disregard for the trust placed in him by the residents. His actions suggest that he is more focused on advancing his personal political career rather than fulfilling the promises he made to the community.

The residents of Whittlesea deserve a Mayor who prioritizes their interests and dedicates the necessary time and effort to serve the city effectively.
