Jennifer Jefferies previous owner of FABR dogs is a known animal abuser with previous charges who is still allowed to own dogs. While she cannot board and own a rescue -Animal Welfare Services of Ontario Canada are allowing her to keep three dogs. 
In 2023 she was charged, convicted and had 8 dogs removed from her care. In July of 2026 after being evicted from a property she destroyed to the point it had to be bulldozed because it was uninhabitable- 11 dogs were found abandoned in cages without food and water. On top of that at least 2 carcasses of dead dogs were found decayed into the ground.  More bones were found on previous properties as well but we can only speculate at this time that they are dog carcasses.  She fled to Woodstock Ontario and is still housing the more than allowed number of dogs in Woodstock and Animal Welfare Services has attended the property to remove more dogs that she is NOT allowed to have.
We are asking as a community that Animal Welfare Services of Ontario STOP dragging their feet and press charges against this woman immediately. We also want a lifetime ban against this woman to ever own dogs again. They claim to be doing an investigation but the dead dogs were never picked up from the Selkirk property for necropsies, and they did not attend the property for anything other than to seize dogs. (No investigation was done into the living conditions of these animals despite the countless photos we the public have as evidence) Ontario residents are sick and tired of the lax conditions allowed for animal abusers in this province. It is time to start pressing charges and ENFORCING bans. The key word is ENFORCING because a piece of paper saying someone can’t own animals does nothing, they must actively be checking in on these people and ensuring they are following the guidelines set against them.

We also want to ensure landlords are kept safe from this woman’s destruction. Her current landlord in Woodstock has no idea her previous residence needs to be bulldozed due to how uninhabitable it has become since she was a tenant.
