Call on your representative to co-sponsor HR 2076 - A Just Policy for the Borderlands
Last week Representative Raul Grijalva (AZ-7) introduced HR 2076, The Border Security and Responsibility Act of 2009. The purpose of this bill is to restore the rule of law to the borderlands, protect communities, restore federal lands, and assess and mitigate the impact of the wall on fragile wildlife habitat.
Call your representative today and urge her or him to support The Border Security and Responsibility Act of 2009 (HR 2076). For talking points and information on how to contact your representative, click here.
To date, walls have been built across more than 600 miles of our shared international border with Mexico. These divisive barriers have separated families, divided borderland communities, caused damaging floods, erosion, destroyed fragile habitat, and threatened the survival of wildlife dependent upon migration.
Members of Congress can stop border wall construction and help mitigate the damage done, but they need to hear from you.
