Recently, the awareness of a deeply disturbing incident involving a well known Nigerian online streamer, Carter Efe, also identified by his real name, Oderhohwo Joseph Efe. According to verified reports and available recordings, Carter Efe has allegedly uttered a death threat against the mother of another individual, Martins Vincent Otse, also known as VDM. The statement suggested that Mr. Otse's mother would die within a week. Such utterances, aimed at harming or intimidating, have no place in a civilized society and must not go unchecked.

The online platform Twitch, where this threat reportedly transpired, is one among many that must maintain a safe and secure environment for its users. However, it is also crucial that our governing entities uphold stringent standards for those who wish to enter other  borders, especially individuals who display behaviour that instills fear and distress in others. The authorities must be proactive, using due diligence to ensure that no individual with such a history enters the UK or EU without further scrutiny.

This review should weigh heavily on his history of alleged threatening behaviour and consider suspending or revoking any visas granted until a comprehensive investigation clears the allegations.
