Roblox has always been more than just a game — it's a global platform where millions of players connect, create, and collaborate. But starting January 2026, the new age-based chat segregation system is breaking apart the very foundation of what made Roblox special.

We, the global Roblox community, are witnessing:
•     Friends and siblings unable to chat or play together due to age restrictions
•     Team-based games becoming unplayable without communication
•     Trading and helping others severely limited
•     Over 5,000 games disrupted or rendered unplayable
•     Mandatory facial or ID verification, raising serious privacy concerns

We propose the following solutions:
1.     Parental control over chat permissions — Let parents decide what's best for their children
2.     Make age verification optional — Not everyone is comfortable sharing personal data
3.     Allow private chat between confirmed friends — With mutual consent or parental approval
4.     Focus on smarter safety tools — Use AI moderation, reporting systems, and content filters instead of blanket restrictions

Roblox is a place where creativity, friendship, and freedom should thrive — not be divided by age walls. We urge Roblox to listen to its global community and find a better balance between safety and connection.
