Call on Nigerian Banks to Convert Outsourced Workers to Full-Time Staff
The Issue
For years, Nigerian banks have relied on outsourced workers to keep their operations running — from customer care to sales. These individuals do the job of full-time staff but are paid significantly less, denied benefits, and offered no path to growth.
Many have worked for 5–10 years and still earn less than ₦60,000/month. Even worse, they are denied employment under flimsy excuses like being "over 26 years" or not having a second-class upper, 'You're a HND holder ', etc.
We demand the immediate conversion of qualified outsourced bank workers to full-time staff and an end to discriminatory hiring practices.
Some have been working for 8+ years but can't even apply to their own banks because of “age limits” or “qualification gaps.”
If they’re good enough to drive profits, they’re good enough to be core staff.
🔊 I join other Nigerians to say: Convert them now!
