The people of Israel (Jewish, Muslim, Christian, Druze and Bedouin) have suffered a major terror attack. More Jewish people were killed in this attack than any other attack since the Holocaust. Most people have understood how to differentiate between terror, cruelty and the current peace negotiations between the Palestinian authorities and Israel. 

The United Nations, is meant to be the ultimate global peace keeping body. It is meant to be educated in the history and empathy of the suffering of all sides of all conflicts around the world. Furthermore, the people in charge of the United Nations have a responsibility to ensure that their utterances are responsible, unifying and apolitical. They should be consistent and logical and not form an emotional bias that could lead to genocide or reckless violence between communities in a country or countries between one another or multilaterally. 

With the wars in Ukraine and the Middle East, now is the time for strong and decisive leadership. We need leaders that have a strong grasp of their sense of duty and of the in depth knowledge of all conflicts and situations that are currently within their purview. The United Nations secretary general has now shown his true colors and has shown the world that he is biased and conflicted and not the correct person to lead the United Nations through this tense period in the history of our world. 

We the undersigned global citizens, call on the UN secretary to resign immediately and make way for a more capable and responsible person that has the empathy and concern of all citizens in this world at heart.
