In our community, I've witnessed firsthand the damaging effects stemming from the leadership of Oliver Freeston, the current Leader of North East Lincolnshire Council. His tenure has not only been controversial but also divisive, particularly in the realm of social media where he has persistently posted false claims that stir hatred and unrest among the community's diverse population. These actions are not only irresponsible but dangerous, as they grant a platform to racist ideologies, breeding fear amongst our minority residents who should instead feel welcome and safe.

Statistics and social observations have repeatedly shown how divisive leadership can fracture communities, increase racial tensions, and precipitate a decline in communal harmony and safety. 

Additionally, as a Leader who claims transparency is his main objective, he consistently fails to share the full facts of his claims and takes credit for outcomes in which he has has no involvement and/or influence. 

Our community needs a leader who will uphold the principles of fairness, honesty, inclusivity, and most importantly, someone who listens and acts on behalf of all residents, without prejudice or partiality. We need a leader who leads with empathy, a level head, and a commitment to fostering a safe community for all who reside here.
