The damage of Mr. Glassman's comments continued on Sunday as major affiliates such as Jason Khalipa's 10-year-old NCFit collective announce their deaffiliation and a growing list of major athletes such as Dani Speegle, Patrick Vellner, Kels Kiel, and Katrin Davidsdottir denounce Mr. Glassman's public behavior. A further blow came when Reebok suddenly made the decision to end all ongoing negotiations as the title sponsor of CrossFit, stating:

"Our partnership with CrossFit HQ comes to an end later this year. Recently, we have been in discussions regarding a new agreement, however, in light of recent events, we have made the decision to end our partnership with CrossFit HQ."
