Call for the dismissal of the Prime Minister and a Vote of No Confidence in the Government

The issue

Demand the Dismissal of Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and a Vote of No Confidence in the Australian Governmen

To the Honourable Members of the Parliament of Australia:

We, the undersigned citizens and residents of Australia, express grave concern over the Albanese Government’s decision to pursue formal recognition of a Palestinian state during a period of ongoing conflict, instability, and terrorist violence.

This decision:

  • Ignores the legitimate fears and concerns of millions of Australians, including Jewish and diaspora communities,
  • Contradicts decades of bipartisan foreign policy that prioritised peace, security, and diplomacy,
  • Potentially legitimises extremist actors on the world stage, including those with ties to terrorism,
  • Undermines key international partnerships and alliances built on shared democratic values, and
  • Weakens Australia’s standing as a principled and responsible actor in global affairs.
  • This move is not only politically reckless—it is morally indefensible. It risks betraying the sacrifices made by generations of Australian servicemen and servicewomen who fought, bled, and died to defend peace, stability, and democratic integrity at home and abroad. Recognising entities linked to violent non-state actors insults their legacy and dishonours their service.

Furthermore, this government’s actions represent a clear betrayal of Australia's long and envied tradition of good governance. Our parliamentary democracy has always stood for considered leadership, bipartisan unity on foreign affairs, and respect for international law and human dignity. These principles are being eroded under the current leadership.

We therefore call upon all Members of Parliament to:

  1. Initiate an immediate vote of no confidence in the Albanese Government, and
  2. Dismiss Prime Minister Anthony Albanese from office, in accordance with democratic and constitutional processes.

Australia deserves principled leadership that reflects the values of its people—not one that undermines its moral standing, strategic alliances, and proud democratic heritage.

We call on you to act decisively. Australia must lead with strength, not compromise.
