In light of recent comments made to social media by Senator Mike Lee We are adding additional information to this petition.  

"Scarcely 24 hours after a Democratic lawmaker in Minnesota was assassinated in her home, Senator Mike Lee, Republican of Utah, posted a pair of politically charged messages mocking the attack.

“This is what happens When Marxists don’t get their way,” Mr. Lee wrote on Sunday on his personal X account, a message accompanied by photographs of the suspect released by law enforcement officials.

An hour later, in a second post showing the suspect, Mr. Lee wrote: “Nightmare on Waltz Street,” in an apparent reference the Democratic governor of the state, Tim Walz." (New York Times, Annie Karni, June 16,2025)

Mike's comments are heartless and inhumane to say the least. Lee must  be held responsible for his actions that are beneath a person of any position in the US Senate. 

We have a call to action for everyone:

1. If you are not a Utah resident please write your senators calling on them to denounce Mike Lee's comments publicly and to expel him from the Senate.
2. If you are a Utah resident write, call or email Mike Lee and demand that he and his staffers resign.
3. Utah residents can write, call or email Senator John Curtis and their respective congressional representative demanding expulsion and any other constitutional and applicable measures that can be taken against Lee for his social media behavior.
4. Utah residents should also write state and local leaders asking them to publicly denounce Mike Lee's comments made on social media.
5. Share the petition everywhere we are seeing a huge influx of signatures due to Lee's ongoing toxic social media posting.

Then one other thing to mention is Mike Lee made 9,000 posts to social media in Trumps first 100 days.  He is not doing his job effectively as he is a "live poster" meaning he himself is doing all the posting. How could he possibly represent the people of Utah when he is chronically online?

April 11, 2024 Salt Lake Tribune is reporting "Utah's Senator Mike Lee has called Europeans 'fascists'." Perhaps the Senator is projecting his actions onto others in an attempt to obscure his own identity?  Tell Mike Lee to find integrity and resign.  The citizens of Utah deserve to see Senator Mike Lee in the news for something attributed to genuine representation instead of his paltry, depraved behavior on the world stage. As I have been out and about talking with fellow Utahns and promoting this petition I have been hearing that Senator Lee doesn't seem to be currently taking or answering constituents phone calls.  I recommend emailing him to get through. This is just one more item to add to the list of constituent grievances in regard to Mike Lee's lack of representation of his voters and the population of Utah. 

Recently, the  Save Act was reintroduced to the House by TX Rep. Chip Roy.  Mike Lee introduced it last year and it did not pass the Senate at that time.  (previously S4292 in 2024) HR22- SAVE Act legislation has the potential to disenfranchise millions of women and minority voters.  Let Mike know what you think by signing and sharing the petition.  Email Mike Lee and John Curtis and tell them to vote NO on (previously S4292 in 2024) HR22- SAVE Act and that you are opposed to such legislation.   

The people of Utah, have watched with increasing concern as our elected representative, Senator Mike Lee, has repeatedly placed loyalty to individuals and extreme ideologies over the welfare of his constituents. His consistent propagation of misinformation is a clear betrayal of public trust, an obligation that ought to be held sacred by those in public office. 
Senator Lee's unswerving commitment to the false narrative that Donald J. Trump did not lose the 2020 General Election weakens democracy and undermines rightful governance. Furthermore, his recent echo of Elon Musk's alarming call for the United States to leave world alliances like NATO and the UN which was reported in the Independent is deeply concerning. Such action would not only isolate Utah, but also make our world less safe. 
Senator Mike Lee of Utah, one of the most powerful representatives in Washington, is now advocating for the interests of an unelected billionaire over those of his constituents. By seeking to abandon our world allies, he is putting our future and that of Utah's children in jeopardy. We believe that our representatives should stand for truth, justice, and the best interests of their constituents. Senator Lee has thus far disappointed us on all these fronts.
For these reasons and more, we call for the immediate resignation of Senator Mike Lee. Your support would send a clear, resounding message about the value we place on integrity, public trust and the welfare of Utah's citizens. Please sign this petition to demand accountability.
