As a former educator at Vanderbilt Charter Academy, I witnessed repeated misconduct and blatant neglect in the role of leadership by Principal Jeff Groegel. My commitment to safeguarding the well-being of students led me to report a concerning incident to Child Protective Services. However, to my shock and dismay, my report was not only ignored but actively destroyed by Mr. Groegel and the administrative staff, including the deans of both the middle and elementary schools. This disturbing pattern of behavior is not only unprofessional but poses a severe threat to the safety and wellbeing of staff and students.

 I was subjected to unprofessional treatment, including the withholding of my paychecks, which is a basic right of every worker. This unfathomable situation cannot continue unabated. It's vital that we demand accountability and enforce significant changes within Vanderbilt Charter Academy's administration.

Jeff Groegel must be removed from his position along with other complicit administrators. The administration’s history of neglect and misuse of authority requires immediate redress. Furthermore, it is crucial that the practices of National Heritage Academies, the governing organization for Vanderbilt Charter Academy and multiple schools nationwide, undergo a comprehensive investigation. Such an investigation would ensure that child and educator welfare are prioritized and that similar misconduct is eradicated across all locations.
