I would like to share news regarding my most recent 'appointment' and the reasons why I have accepted #4 voluntary role.

eCancer Global Foundation founder is Prof. Gordon McVie (internationally recognised cancer expert) and ex-CEO of CRUK. I was overwhelmed to receive an invitation to join his organisation's Editorial Board - made up of highly respected and authoritative leaders, each representing a difference field in cancer research (see below - alphabetical order).

I am not 'collecting' titles and positions to keep me busy.  If I believe that the offered roles are worthwhile, and mutual collaborations formed to help both our breast density education work and each organisation, then it must be worth doing.  

I have great respect for eCancer - who have been wonderfully supportive from the start, a really super organisation and I am honoured to be asked to join them.
