The warmest of welcomes received from scientists, clinicians and imaging lecturers in Manchester and Salford this week.
1. Prevent Breast Cancer is a breast cancer charity with a difference; leading risk stratification and breast density research. I had the great pleasure of meeting again with Professor Tony Howell, PBC's Scientific Director. An international expert and professor of Medical Oncology at the University of Manchester who has specialised in treating breast cancer for over 30 years and author of over 600 scientific papers and book chapters.
I am delighted to report a collaboration has been formed with Prevent Breast Cancer. Watch this space!
2. Salford University - discussions with lecturers, discussing the possibility to include links to density educational resources on the university's 'blackboard' students' online learning hub.
3. Manchester University - meetings with density scientists proved interesting and productive.
