I am sure you all know that it is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 1,430 people die per day worldwide of breast cancer. Jo Taylor is a breast cancer survivor who was diagnosed with secondary breast cancer in 2014 and she continues to undergo regular treatment. She is founder of ABC D (After Breast Cancer Diagnosis) and works tirelessly to help those living with metastatic (secondary) cancer. Whilst Breast Density Matters UK supports all those fund raising this month & raising awareness for breast cancer, the association with pink could not be further from the truth. We all know that breast cancer (primary & secondary) is actually far from pretty pink. This is Jo's campaign - focussing on the realities of those living with all stages of breast cancer and on research to save lives.
