Breast Density Matters UK were advised, by breast surgeon advocates, to attend this conference in Ireland. All the top experts and influencers were in attendance. In the auditorium, Cheryl Cruwys briefly outlined her breast cancer early detection experience and asked: 'the UK has the technology - why do we not use it to achieve early diagnosis?' All 4 members of the panel took the time to reply in length - basically stating that it was an issue of lack of time and workforce. Over the 2 day conference, Cheryl was delighted to speak with many people, educating them on breast density and connected with many experts who, potentially, could help with to progress the campaign.
