Countless, hardworking Alabamians are on the verge of losing (or already have lost) their livelihoods and are struggling to keep the lights on at home. This is more than a crisis and we need reassurance that our elected officials understand the gravity of the situation. 

Dale Strong and his colleagues have been notably vague and dissmissive. The representative of our voices is veiled behind the corridors of political convenience. The people of North Alabama deserve more than form letters, empty words, or misguided efforts to put the issues off on someone else. We demand a town meeting to address the significant distress afflicting our community. This will not only allow us to pose our genuine concerns but also hold our representative accountable.

Therefore, we are calling upon Dale Strong to maintain transparency, show accountability, and understand the plights of his constituency. An open forum in the form of a town meeting is a stepping stone towards seeking solutions and understanding. It is not just our right, but our representative’s obligation to us.
