Although this petition only ten signatures so far (and thank you for all of those), the Federal government continues to threaten to use the military against civilian urban areas. These cities already have local police and state forces. Further, the FBI already exists to fight Federal level crime, and they have already been trained to do so. The U.S. military has more appropriate work such as DEFENDING this country from external threats rather than conducting WAR upon its citizens.

Several mayors and governors have been taking a stand, but there has been no really visible, unified stand by elected members of the U.S. Senate and Congress. We need protection from Federal misconduct by our Federal representatives. Please tell them so!
