CALL FOR AN OFFICIAL ENGLISH DUB OF MO DAO ZU SHI!
The Issue
The brilliant animated series Mo Dao Zu Shi (MDZS ) is an incredible piece of art featuring breathtaking visuals, an intricate plot, and legendary Chinese voice acting. While the original cast’s dedication and hard work deserve immense respect, the global community is missing a vital bridge to fully experiencing this masterpiece: an official English dub.
I started this petition for everyone who truly wants an English dub version of this amazing story. I know so many fans worldwide are hoping and wishing for this—whether it’s for themselves, a friend, a family member, or a newcomer they want to introduce to the fandom.
WHY IS THIS PERSONAL FOR ME?
As someone who usually watches anime and donghua subbed in English, I can easily keep up with subtitles. But I didn't create this petition just for myself—I created it for the entire community. That's why this petition was made in the first place. I deeply feel for the people who desperately want to experience this masterpiece but face language or processing barriers.
On a personal level, my love for MDZS and Wangxian is truly endless. I want to be able to watch this show all the time! Having an official English dub means we can put the show on in the background, multi-task, or do other things while still fully experiencing the epic animation, legendary fights, and incredible plot. I know the majority feels exactly the same way. We want to live and breathe this story without our eyes being glued to text on the screen. Moreover, THE HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL ENGLISH DUB of HEAVENS OFFICAL BLESSING proved that global audiences are eager to support an english dubbed version of mdzs which is written by the same author: MO XIANG TONG XIU.
PROVIDING AN ENGLISH VOICE TRACK WILL IMPACT OUR COMMUNITY IN THREE MAJOR WAYS:
- ACCESSIBILITY: Visually impaired fans and those who struggle to follow fast-paced subtitles will finally be able to easily enjoy and experience this masterpiece.
- VISUAL APPRECIATION: The art style of MDZS is a breathtaking visual triumph. An official English dub would allow global viewers to fully immerse themselves in the stunning animation and intricate action scenes, without their focus being pulled away by constantly reading text.
- COMMUNITY GROWTH: It will make it much easier to introduce friends and family to this incredible story, allowing the global MDZS fanbase to grow even larger.
