First—I want to personally thank every one of you who signed and followed this petition.
Over the past few months, many of you stepped up because you believed something wasn’t right. You took the time to sign, share, and support this effort—and that matters more than you know.
I also know many of you have been waiting for an update.
Here it is.
What Has Been Done
A formal submission has now been completed and sent to the Judicial Redistricting Task Force of Tennessee.
This is not just a complaint—it is a structured, data-supported report that is now part of an official state review process.
The submission outlines:
Delays in case resolution
Extremely low trial rates
Limited access to timely discovery
Structural and resource limitations within the district
It also includes recommendations aimed at improving access to justice and ensuring the system works as it should.
This is a major step forward—and your support made it possible.
A Shift in Focus
When this petition started, the goal was to call attention to concerns and request an investigation.
As this process has developed, something has become clear:
This is bigger than any single office or individual.
The issue is whether the system, as a whole, is working properly for the people it serves.
That’s where the focus is now.
Fairness.
Transparency.
Timely access to justice.
Public Hearing Request
As part of the submission, a request was made for a public hearing to be held within the Thirty-Second Judicial District.
If that request is approved, I will post another update with details so that anyone who wishes to attend can do so.
Public participation in that setting could be very important.
What Happens Next
The Task Force is currently reviewing input from across the state and is expected to make final recommendations in January 2027.
That means this process is ongoing—and this issue is now officially part of that review.
In the meantime, I will continue:
Providing updates
Exploring media outreach
Gathering community input
Identifying next steps to keep this moving forward

Transparency matters, and I want this process to remain open to those who are interested.
Your Role Still Matters
This effort only exists because of people like you.
If you’ve experienced delays, lack of access, or challenges within the system—your voice still matters.
Stay engaged.
Continue to share.
Because real change doesn’t come from one step—it comes from continued involvement.
This has always been about making a positive difference—not just for ourselves, but for our community.
And we’ve taken a real step forward.
More to come soon.
