I'm Anne, at 43 years old, and I've called New Zealand my home for over 18 years (originally from France). My husband's background is quite diverse, with one side being Kiwi and the other French, along with a blend of French, Irish, Jewish, and Arab heritage – but in the broader perspective, why should it matter anyway, right? (Who should really be concerned about such details nowadays !?!?). We have 3 beautiful children, free range kids, and we are SO lucky to see them grow in a peaceful environment. 

Throughout my life, the Israeli-Palestinian "conflict" has remained a constant source of distress. Just like you, maybe, I've always believed that it should be a problem with a relatively straightforward solution, at least in theory. But regrettably, it has proven to be anything but that. Over the years, we've witnessed a lack of significant progress; in fact, the situation has deteriorated, despite the UN resolutions.

We are incredibly fortunate to live in a world where we are free and where we have the freedom to access news (and to engage in signing and sharing petitions!) while countless individuals face daily hardships and suffering. We must think of them. ❤️

Of course, we mustn't forget the ongoing conflicts in places like Ukraine, as well as the Afghan people, and all the civil wars in various nations. However, we firmly believe that achieving peace in the Middle East could bring hope to humanity and establish a global equilibrium.

The resolution of this deeply-rooted conflict provides a solid foundation for the rest of the world. Beyond all else, it's a matter of LOVE for our fellow human beings and the pursuit of a harmonious world. War can never be the answer – peace, and only peace, should be our unwavering goal.
