As fair businesses and individuals, we trust payment processing companies like Stripe, Inc. to handle our transactions securely and fairly. However, recent actions by Stripe have raised serious concerns about the company's practices and ethics.

My company, like many others' businesses, has fallen victim to what we believe are unjust and potentially fraudulent practices by Stripe, Inc. After processing legitimate payments through Stripe for over a year without any issues, complaints, claims, disputes or chargebacks, our account was suddenly flagged, payments were unjustly withheld, some of the funds were randomly returned to clients without their request, their consent or any valid reason. We were informed by Stripe, Inc., that the remaining balance of over $7,000 "will not be made available to us". 

Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue with Stripe, our concerns were dismissed, and our funds remain unjustly withheld. Stripe is also demanding private correspondence between us and our customers which is a severe violation of GDRP. Unfortunately, our case is not isolated—there are thousands of similar stories from businesses and individuals around the world as seen on Facebook, TrustPilot, Instagram account of Patrick Collinson (the co-owner), Apple Store and other platforms. According to these stories Stripe has been ruining business and reputations worldwide, probably benefitting from large amounts of withheld payments.

We are launching this petition to:

- Bring attention to Stripe, Inc’s unfair and potentially fraudulent practices.
- Gather stories from other victims of Stripe, Inc’s actions.
- Demand that Stripe, Inc. return withheld funds and compensate victims for the damages caused.
- Urge regulatory bodies like the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), US Securities and Exchange Commission, California Department of Justice, US National Cyber Security Centre, Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3), Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Ireland Data Protection Commission and Central Bank of Ireland to conduct a thorough investigation into Stripe, Inc's practices.
