Rugby league is more than a game for me; it is my sanctuary, my joy. Yet, I am disheartened by the consistently inconsistent decisions and seemingly arbitrary rule enforcement in the National Rugby League (NRL). The ongoing farcical calls in every game suggest either confusion amongst officials or a perceived bias, which erodes the faith fans like myself put in the game we love so dearly. 

We turn our focus specifically towards the NRL and the head of elite football operations, Graham Annersley. Our concerns go beyond mere game errors - they signify a structural issue within the NRL, undermining the integrity and value of our beloved sports league.

The rules of rugby league should not be subject to inconsistency or bias. They need to be clear, fair, and consistently enforced to ensure the integrity of the matches and the respect of the spectators. It is high time for the NRL to initiate a comprehensive review and overhaul of the rugby league rules and refereeing decisions.

We are not asking for perfection but for a concerted effort towards consistency, fairness, and transparency in the administration of NRL matches. We believe that by holding officials accountable, we can uphold the integrity of the game, restoring the public's trust and love for rugby league.
