The Issue

The current Labour administration is leading us down a dangerous path. It's crucial to act now and demand a General Election to preserve the future of our nation. Our financial stability is at risk, as policies threaten to plunge the UK into an economic crisis.

One area of immediate concern is the erosion of our freedoms through the introduction of the Online Safety Act. This legislation, while perhaps well-intentioned, poses severe risks to free speech and individual privacy. It's imperative that we halt its progress and reassess its impact on our liberties.

Furthermore, the concept of 'non-crime hate incidents' raises alarms about the creeping surveillance state. Labeling actions or words as hate incidents without them being crimes sets a troubling precedent, stifling open dialogue and breeding unnecessary fear.

The Government's push towards implementing digital IDs is yet another move that threatens to infringe on personal privacy and freedom. The digital ID proposal must be reconsidered in light of its long-term implications on civil liberties.

Most distressingly, the mishandling of the grooming gang inquiry has caused immense embarrassment nationwide. By offering a watered-down response to such a grave issue, the Government is letting down countless survivors who deserve justice and accountability. It's time to amplify their voices and ensure their calls for comprehensive investigation do not go unanswered.

For these pressing reasons, we urge the need for a General Election NOW, to allow the public to decide our leadership before irreversible damages are done. Let us come together and hold our current leaders accountable. Sign this petition to demand change and protect the future of the United Kingdom.
