The truth hurts but Lies can kill.

It's true, the truth hurts, but lies can kill, and in todays environment the truth is so hard to find and so many people prefer to listen to lies than the truth, and if a person chooses to live by the truth it becomes like a light that shines on everything and everyone that it effects. I was brought up as a Christian, but we only had the Salvation Army to render sacred services for all the people on North Deniliquin Flats, still our mother dressed us boys up better for church than she did for normal school, and I remember being tormented for being Aboriginal, and called very nasty names, but mum had a saying for nearly everything that happened to us at school, and she would tell us to say sticks and stones may break our bones, but names will never hurt me. I can tell anyone that my Mum always told us to never see the colour of anyone, and to treat everyone the same. I still do that even today. My mum always said that it is better to tell the truth than to tell a lie, and in fact she once told me that when you tell a lie, a fairy drops dead every time you tell a lie, I think that she said that to try to deter me from lying. So, today I stand before anyone and challenge them try to find the evidence or the proof or the witnesses to prove that I am guilty of committing those crimes that I was convicted of and say to them that they will never find any because there is none, and that's the truth, because I didn't do any of the things that they have accused me of, and there are so many people in prisons and institutions that have done nothing but be in the wrong place at the wrong time, and that brings us back to the question of criminal laws and judicial systems. I know that everyone makes mistakes, it's the fundamental thing that binds us all together as humans, but let us forge ahead and try to correct the mistakes of our people who make the laws and have them enshrined into our constitutional laws and make it better for all Australians.
